Yesterday we went to Paseo de Sta. Rosa to have our late lunch at Brother's Burger, which I crave for more than 2 weeks now. We actually have a lot of plan for that day but since our time was spent waiting for a very long queue on my pre-natal check-up we have to re-do our itinerary for the day. Imagine I was there in the hospital as early as 10:30am but I only got in at 2:15pm, good thing there's a good news on the result of all my blood test as I have mention on my previous post.
After we had our very late lunch, we went to all for less store to buy crocs which I can use in the office since they don't allow an open shoes, I'd like to have closed pair of shoes, unfortunately they only have limited colors and design and they don't have the color of the one I liked which I first saw in Glorietta a week ago. We went out of that store empty handed.
Originally we plan to stay at Starbucks to kill time and to relax but since it's already late we just forgo this plan and just agreed to drop by the wet market to check if there's any fresh seafood that we can cook for dinner.
On our way to the wet market we pass by a newly open gun store which we did visit since both hubby and I has a love for guns and it's accessories. We both love target shooting and we love to compete with each other =). We find the price so expensive and we are not even sure if the quality is okay since they won't allow us to touch and inspect the guns. So, when we arrive home I search the net and was able to find a very good site where I can buy gun some accessories and apparels for hubby as my Christmas gifts. The site was called TacticalPantsUSA they have wide range of products, from ">gun accessories, pants, polos, shorts and jumpsuits which hubby really wanted.
a place where I can truly express myself, my opinions and my thoughts a place where I can type anything ang everything without the needs to edit a place I called my own and it's all about love

Passing Grade
I visit my Obgyne yesterday to show her my OGCT and FBS result and also the result of my ultrasand made last November 15. I'm so happy to know that the result of my OGCT and FBS are all normal not even on the higher side, I was nervous at first because my Mom, Lola and Uncle has a diabeties and I'm so takot na I'm might get the same genes from them. Buti na lang normal pa blood sugar ko.
The size of baby JM showed on the ultrasound is also commendable, ako lang daw talaga ang malaki and not the baby he he he

Celebration
I celebrate my 30th birthday in the office today and I was so touch with my colleagues. My boss gave me a cake from Contis, the office staff gave me a sansrival from Goldilocks and my co-department and some managers gave me a big chocolate cake from Goldilocks.
I bought pork bbq, 2 pancit bilao and 2 cassava cake from my officemates mom. They are so yummy.
I will post some pictures as soon as I download them from my officemates cellphone.

Week 28 of my pregnancy
Your baby's crown-to-rump length is approximately 10 inches and the total length of your growing baby is around 15.75 inches. Your baby weighs about 2.4 pounds at this point. Your uterus is a little more than 3 inches above your bellybutton. Your weight gain at this time should be between 17 and 24 pounds.

Blood vessel in the umbilical cord. For several months, the umbilical cord has been the baby's lifeline to the mother. Nourishment is transferred from the mother's blood, through the placenta, and into the umbilical cord to the baby. If the mother ingests any toxic substances, such as drugs or alcohol, the baby receives these as well!
You will probably begin visiting your caregiver once every two weeks. Week 28 is an important week for testing. You will probably be having your glucose tolerance test, an iron level test and if you are Rh negative, you should have an antibody test. The antibody test will determine if you and your baby will have any reactions to each other's blood differences. The glucose test will check for gestational diabetes.
Your baby's brain continues to develop and is now forming the folds and grooves of a fully developed brain. The amount of tissues within the brain also continues to increase in large amounts. The hair that covers your baby's scalp is also getting longer. Your baby is now large enough for presentation to be determined and your doctor might be able to find out if your baby is at risk for being breech. If your baby is breech, don't panic. There is still time for the baby to rotate.

Week 27 of my Pregnancy
You are now in the third trimester, and last, of your pregnancy! Your baby's crown-to-rump length is about 9.6 inches and your baby's total length is approximately 15.3inches! Your baby now weighs about 2 pounds 3 ounces and is going to grow rapidly during this last trimester! Your uterus is about 2.8 inches above your bellybutton.

If your baby were born now, it would have an 85% chance of surviving. Even though your baby is still not fully developed, she would be well within the limits of premature viability. You still have approximately 13 weeks left of your pregnancy, and during this time your baby must continue to grow and develop. If your baby was born at this time, she would have several complications that would require special attention. Because babies do not have adequate amounts of fat at this time, your baby would have to be kept inside of an incubator for warmth. Because the air sacs in your baby's lungs do not yet have surfactant, she would require an artificial respirator. Your baby's brain, liver and immune system still need to develop more also.
Make sure you take good care of your teeth. So-called `pregnancy gingivitis` affects most pregnant women to some degree, and generally occurs in the second trimester. If you already have gingivitis, the condition is likely to worsen during pregnancy.
Your baby can develop hiccups

It's a boy!

Yes we're having a baby boy.
I had my ultra sound last Saturday and it show's that we are indeed having a baby boy on 99.99999%. I got so happy learning that my wish did come true. Eversince or since I was young I always wanted to have a son as my eldest, maybe because I'm an only child and always wishing that I had an elder brother who will protect me. But when I got pregnant, I don't really care if it's going to be a baby boy or girl as long as my baby is normal and healthy that's would really fine with me. Learning that we are going to have a boy that's another bonus! =)
